Meatballs in the oven, quick and healthy recipe

We always aim to eat as healthy as possible, but it doesn't seem to work out every time as we set out to do and we get rid of our heart's desire.

This is what happens every time, I propose to eat more balanced, healthier, fat-free or sugar-free from tomorrow, but I don't know how almost every time the account at home does not match the one at the fair!

Today a friend asked me to make some meatballs and being quite warm outside, for a limited time I said that the only viable option to finish them in time and get rid of the heat and smell is to put them in the oven and I did well! The allotted time has been halved, the smell in the house almost non-existent, where we add that they do not have any gram of extra fat compared to the fat that is normally found in meat.

We slice 20-25 meatballs and make balls into them.

Put them on a tray lined with baking paper and put them in the oven for 18-20 minutes.

Simple, fast, healthy and tasty! Now let me get to work, I hope!

Baked meatballs

I really like meatballs, but we all know that they are not the healthiest meat in the world: minced meat fried in hot oil. Tasty (if done well) but unhealthy. We can change that. I mean, we can make them tasty but a little healthier. Do you know how? Simple: heat the oven well and use it instead of the oil bath. There it is:

You need a tray (plus one if you choose to make the garnish I show you here, respectively the potato coins, cut as thin as possible, sprinkle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with currant or thyme), baking sheet and raw material. . I used minced chicken. I mixed a kilogram of chicken with two tablespoons of breadcrumbs, two eggs, a handful of finely chopped parsley leaves, a few finely chopped dill leaves and these, a little salt, a little ground coriander, a clove of finely chopped garlic .

I formed the meatballs and put them on the baking sheet. I put the tray in the hot oven (200 degrees Celsius) and reduced the temperature to 180 degrees. I left the meatballs in the oven for 18 minutes.

Halfway through, I put the potato coins in the oven.

I made a fine yogurt sauce (three tablespoons) beaten with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of chopped dill.

I put the sauce over the meatballs.

Baked meatballs with potatoes

The meatballs are very tasty and in my family they are extremely appreciated in the family. I make several dishes, from pork, beef, poultry, fish or pumpkin, plain or with sauce. I also make a huge meatball in the oven, to avoid frying, but also the famous ones Moldovan parjoale . All are extremely tasty. I have a few little tricks, my meatballs are very fluffy, soft and fragrant, I do not use bread, but only finely chopped meat, spices and vegetables.

I chop my own meat at home, after washing it well and cleaning it of veins, clots and bones. I recommend you have one shredder home of any kind, ideally an electric one. I have a very cheap one and I am very satisfied, so I do not recommend a specific company & # 128578
